SITE VISITS
Connect people, places and work with GPS-based site activity
Ontouch uses the phone's location to show the sites available at the user's current position. The permitted distance is set for each site by the company, helping make sure site activity is recorded against the correct location.

Where attendance rules require it, the user clocks in before accessing Sites. They can then select the site and visit reason, add an optional comment and log on site. If more than one site is available nearby, the correct site can be selected before the visit starts.

Once onsite, the Site page becomes a working hub for the modules enabled at that location, with today's available, in-progress and completed activity shown where supported.

While onsite, users can open the work that has been enabled for that site directly from the Site page. Depending on the company's setup this can include Question Sets, Routes, Tasks, Assets, Room Servicing, Facility Services, Vehicle Logbook, Vehicle Access, Inventory, Incidents and site Photos.

Module cards can show useful activity information for the day, helping the user see what is available, in progress or already completed before opening the module.

The Site Note Book lets users add short notes linked to the current site and shared with the company for reporting. Where enabled, authorised users can also add a new company site from the app using the phone's current GPS location, with a check for existing nearby sites first.

Site visits record the user's onsite and offsite activity so the time spent at the site can be included in reporting alongside the work completed there.
OFFLINE READY
Previously saved nearby sites and visit reasons can be used offline. Site Visit actions and Site Note Book entries queue for sync; adding a new site requires a connection.
Site management on our website

The website gives administrators a central place to create and maintain each site. Site profiles can include the address and GPS position, map and scan distance, contact details, operations and area managers, active dates, expected monthly visits and Question Sets, tags and visit-notification settings.

Additional site tools are available for contacts, documents, shifts, Question Sets and scheduled site visits. The Site dashboard also highlights setup items that may need attention, such as missing Question Sets, inactive sites, unverified contact emails or sites without scheduled visits.

Site Visit reports can then be used to review recorded visits and site activity by user, site and period, with PDF reporting available where supported. Client reporting can provide authorised clients with visibility of activity completed at their sites.
